With the victory, Thomas Jefferson improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to play the Ironmen in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont challenge on Friday, January 26. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Cherryville lost 65-53 in their recent league challenge against Burns (Lawndale, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC) in a Western Piedmont challenge, on Friday, February 2. Pinnacle Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 65-3 league loss to The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC).
