Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Union Farmers (Union, NJ) and the host Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ), saw Union's basketball squad knock off Rahway by a count of 42-34.

With the victory, Union upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Farmers travel to Linden (Linden, NJ) to play the Tigers in a Union County - Valley challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-9.

Next up, the Indians play the Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Rahway will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 57-21 league loss to Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ).
