In Thursday's league outing, the Salmon River Savages (Riggins, ID) basketball squad edged the host Tri-Valley Titans (Cambridge, ID), by a count of 60-58.
The Savages (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cascade (Cascade, ID). The Ramblers go into the 1A II Long Pin outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Cascade held off Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID), 42-40, in a league outing.
The Titans now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Council for a 1A II Long Pin outing on Friday, January 26. Tri-Valley will clash with a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 65-40 league win over Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 8-5.
