The Galena Grizzlies basketball team scored 39 points and held the host McQueen Lancers to 14 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Thursday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spanish Springs for a contest on Saturday, January 27. Galena will battle a Cougars team coming off a 23-20 league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 8-6.
The Lancers (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Bishop Manogue was routed by Douglas (Minden, NV), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
