The Davie War Eagles basketball team scored 30 points and held the host East Forsyth Eagles to 12 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The War Eagles now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reagan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Davie will battle a Raiders team coming off a 39-19 non-league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 5-3.
The Eagles (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Mount Tabor ran past R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 35-29, in a league contest.
