Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) and the host Notre Dame Regents (San Jose, CA), saw University Prep Academy's basketball squad hold off Notre Dame by a count of 23-17.

With the victory, University Prep Academy upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Regents play the Notre Dame Tigers (Belmont, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 2. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
