The Placer Hillmen basketball team (Auburn, CA), dropped 41-32 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA)

The Bruins now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakmont for a battle on Tuesday, January 30. Ponderosa will battle a Vikings team coming off a 65-1 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-16.

The Hillmen (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners come into the battle with a 10-10 record.
