The St. Mary's Academy Belles basketball team (Inglewood, CA), dropped 31-16 in Thursday's league battle with the host St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA)
The Saints now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King/Drew for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. St. Anthony will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 57-18 league win over GALA (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
The Belles (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen come into the battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, St. Paul dropped by Serra (Gardena, CA), 44-27, in a non-league battle.
