Fans at Thursday's league game between the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) and the host Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME), observed Cony's ice hockey squad defeat Old Town by a final score of 7-1.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 29. Cony will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.

With the defeat, Old Town moves to 3-5 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME) to battle the Eagles in a Class B North game on Saturday, February 10. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-3.
