The Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats basketball team (Manning, SC), was nudged 38-33 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Camden Military Spartans (Camden, SC)
The Spartans now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson Hall for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 30. Camden Military will battle a Barons team coming off a 44-23 league loss to Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC). The Barons record now stands at 2-2.
The Swampcats (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Calhoun Academy edged Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC), 24-13, in a non-league battle.
