Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL), 50-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sylacauga upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Talladega (Talladega, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
