Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), 54-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cheyenne Mountain upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Red-Tailed Hawks host Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Pueblo South won 57-51 in their recent league challenge against Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO)

Next up, the Bears confront the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Palmer Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
