Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), 54-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nandua upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Poquoson (Poquoson, VA) to play the Islanders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 1-13. Poquoson lost 65-25 in their recent non-league bout against Smithfield (Smithfield, VA)

Next up, the Ponies play the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Chincoteague will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
