The Northwood Temple Academy Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Freedom Christian Academy Patriots to 41 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fayetteville Christian for a contest on Friday, January 26. Northwood Temple Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-33 league win over Village Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.

The Patriots (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Wayne Preparatory Academy was defeated by Word of God Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC), 71-67, in a non-league contest.
