North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Florence Knights (Florence, SC), 43-42 in a league bout.

With the win, North Myrtle Beach upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Chiefs host Hartsville (Hartsville, SC) to play the Red Foxes in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Red Foxes go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Hartsville lost 48-36 in their recent league bout against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC)

Next up, the Knights play the Wilson Tigers (Florence, SC) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 31. West Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 40-39 non-league win over Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC).
