Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA), 44-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA) to play the Wolves in a bout on Friday, January 26. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy won 58-24 in their recent league bout against Sacramento Country Day (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Capitals play the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Sacramento Adventist will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 6-17 record after their 73-47 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
