In Saturday's league test, the Alleluia Community Angels (Augusta, GA) basketball squad got by the visiting Trinity Prep Lions (Loganville, GA), by a final score of 65-63.
Next, the Angels clash with the Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA) in a GAPPS - I-A Region 3 test, on Monday, January 27. Alleluia Community will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 6-13 record after their 45-39 non-league win over The Forest School (Fayetteville, GA).
The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Victory Baptist (Loganville, GA). The Warrior come into the non-league test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Victory Baptist was nipped by Georgia Force Christian (Sugar Hill, GA), 79-56, in a non-league test.
