The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Spring Garden Panthers (Spring Garden, AL) and the visiting Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL), saw Spring Garden's basketball team beat Appalachian by a tally of 54-43.
The Panthers now possess a 27-0 record. They play next when they host Cedar Bluff for a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. Spring Garden will play a Tigers team coming off a 61-51 non-league loss to Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.
With the loss, Appalachian falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cold Springs (Bremen, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-14.
