Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC), 61-52 in a league match.

With the victory, Asheville Christian Academy advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Lions host Christ School (Arden, NC) to face the Greenies in a NCISAA Carolinas match on Tuesday, January 28. The Greenies enter the match with a record of 18-1. Christ School won 72-34 in their recent non-league match against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)

The Blues now own a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rabun Gap-Nacoochee for a NCISAA Carolinas match on Tuesday, January 28. Asheville School (Independent) will face a Eagles squad coming off a 67-44 non-league loss to Buford (Buford, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-13.
