Kansas High School Basketball - Hanover beaten by Axtell

The Axtell Eagles were victorious over the visiting Hanover Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 70-61 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Doniphan West Mustangs (Highland, KS) in a Twin Valley outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Axtell will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 3-8 record after their 70-56 non-league loss to Hanover (Hanover, KS).

The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Griffin enter the non-league outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Diller-Odell ran past Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE), 47-38, in a non-league outing.
