Georgia High School Basketball - Banneker sneaks past McIntosh

The Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) basketball edged the visiting McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), 42-41 in Saturday's league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Langston Hughes for a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Banneker will play a Panthers team coming off a 68-36 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-8.
With the loss, McIntosh falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Morrow (Morrow, GA) to play the Mustangs in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Morrow lost 53-51 in their recent league bout against Newnan (Newnan, GA)
