The Lincoln County Patriots basketball squad (Stanford, KY), was nudged 50-47 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY)
With the victory, Boyle County advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Rebels host North Laurel (London, KY) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 12-6. North Laurel won 78-63 in their recent league battle against Clay County (Manchester, KY)
The Patriots now own a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Danville Christian Academy for a District 45 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Lincoln County will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 56-53 non-league win over Lyon County (Eddyville, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 17-2.
