The Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) basketball were winner over the visiting John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA), 64-52 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The War Eagles now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they host Central Fellowship Christian Academy for a GIAA AA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Brentwood will play a Lancers team coming off a 80-68 non-league win over Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA). The Lancers record now stands at 15-3.
With the loss, John Milledge Academy falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Trojans host Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA) to play the Cavaliers in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 bout on Monday, January 27. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Mount de Sales Academy won 59-52 in their recent league bout against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA)
