In Saturday's league test, the Wells Leopards (Wells, NV) basketball squad trounced the visiting Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV), by a score of 50-24.

Next, the Leopards encounter the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 29. Wells will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 10-13 record after their 63-50 league win over Yerington (Yerington, NV).

The Railroaders (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Jackpot (Jackpot, NV). The Jaguars come into the 1A East test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Jackpot was routed by Owyhee (Owyhee, NV), 47-40, in a league test.
