In Saturday's league test, the Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), by a score of 81-38.

Next, the Saints encounter the North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) in a AAA Region 5 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Cedar Grove will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 10-10 record after their 63-57 league win over Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA).

The Bulldogs (2-19) will now prepare for their test against Douglass (Atlanta, GA). The Astros come into the AAA Region 5 test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Douglass bounced Luella (Luella, GA), 58-50, in a league test.
