The Cedar Shoals Jaguars bounced the visiting Clarke Central Gladiators basketball squad by a final score of 70-38 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Jaguars face the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 outing, on Monday, January 27. Cedar Shoals will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 18-2 record after their 74-40 league win over Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA).
The Gladiators now own a 0-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apalachee for a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Clarke Central will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-46 league loss to Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-9.
