Virginia High School Basketball - Central Wise victorious over Gate City

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Central Wise Warriors basketball team scored a good 87-71 triumph over the Gate City Blue Devils.
The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lee (Jonesville, VA). The Generals go into the Mountain contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Lee was topped by Eastside (Coeburn, VA), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Gate City will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 16-7 record after their 55-51 league win over West Ridge (Blountville, TN).
