Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK), 51-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Guthrie advances its record to 3-9 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK) to meet the Comets in a 5A District 3 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Comets enter the match with a record of 10-7. Bishop Kelley lost 58-52 in their recent league match against East Central (Tulsa, OK)

The Longhorns now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watonga for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30.
