New Mexico High School Basketball - Manzano overwhelmed by Cibola

The Cibola Cougars bounced the visiting Manzano Monarchs basketball squad by a final score of 77-47 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a 5A District 1 outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Cibola will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 11-7 record after their 77-32 league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).

The Monarchs (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the 5A District 2 outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Sandia was overwhelmed by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 80-74, in a league outing.
