Next, the Cougars clash with the Shepherd Mustangs (Shepherd, MT) in a B District 4 test, on Friday, January 31. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 52-39 league win over Joliet (Joliet, MT).

The Sheepherders (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Huntley Project (Worden, MT). The Red Devils come into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Huntley Project overcame Colstrip (Colstrip, MT), 69-50, in a league test.
