The Unity Christian Lions basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Cornerstone Christian Eagles to 50 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 6-15 record. They play next when they host Oakwood Christian for a GAPPS - I-A Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 28. Unity Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 57-43 non-league loss to Praise Academy (Powder Springs, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Cornerstone Christian falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Tabernacle (Gardendale, AL) to confront the Torches in a Alabama Christian - III North game on Friday, January 31. The Torches go into the game with a record of 9-15.
