The Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN) basketball were winner over the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN), 68-52 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Jefferson County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Science Hill will play a Patriots team coming off a 59-44 non-league win over Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Elizabethton falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Fighting cyclones host Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to play the Patriots in a 3A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-17. Sullivan East lost 90-66 in their recent league bout against Unicoi County (Erwin, TN)
