The Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) basketball nudged the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 60-57 in Saturday's league game.
The Rebels now have a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dalton Academy for a A D1 Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 28. Fannin County will confront a Pumas team coming off a 87-19 league loss to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA). The Pumas record now stands at 1-16.
With the loss, Gordon Central falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Dade County (Trenton, GA) to confront the Wolverines in a A D1 Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 6-13. Dade County won 55-37 in their recent league game against Coosa (Rome, GA)
