The Gering Bulldogs basketball squad (Gering, NE), was crushed 74-38 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE)

With the victory, Scottsbluff advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Alliance (Alliance, NE) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 10-5. Alliance lost 83-65 in their recent non-league battle against Ogallala (Ogallala, NE)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sidney for a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. Gering will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 57-50 non-league win over Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE). The Red Raiders record now stands at 11-4.
