Ohio High School Basketball - Gibsonburg sneaks past Hopewell-Loudon

The Gibsonburg Golden Bears (Gibsonburg, OH) basketball edged the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), 46-42 in Saturday's league bout.

The Golden Bears now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lakota for a Sandusky Bay - River game on Tuesday, January 28. Gibsonburg will confront a Raiders team coming off a 57-39 league win over Danbury (Lakeside, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Hopewell-Loudon falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Calvert (Tiffin, OH) to confront the Senecas in a Sandusky Bay - River game on Tuesday, January 28. The Senecas go into the game with a record of 13-3. Calvert won 76-16 in their recent league game against St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH)
