The Scots (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Atchison (Atchison, KS). The Phoenix come into the Meadowlark challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Atchison was tipped by Eudora (Eudora, KS), 69-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) in a United Kansas challenge, on Friday, January 31. West will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 82-30 non-league win over Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS).
