The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ) and the host St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ), observed Immaculate Conception's basketball team overcome St. Benedict's Prep by a margin of 72-58.
The Lions (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against South Shore (Brooklyn, NY). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, South Shore dropped by Eagle Academy II (Brooklyn, NY), 52-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gray Bees battle the Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. St. Benedict's Prep will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record.
