Kansas High School Basketball - Independence holds off Labette County

The Independence Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Labette County Grizzlies to 51 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Burlington for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25.
With the loss, Labette County falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS) to confront the Golden Tornado in a Southeast Kansas game on Friday, January 31. The Golden Tornado go into the game with a record of 4-4. Field Kindley lost 64-37 in their recent non-league game against Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, KS)
