In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Rye Cove Eagles basketball team scored a close 59-55 win over the Lee Generals.
The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Holston (Damascus, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Lee will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 82-30 league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, VA).
