The Panthers now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they host West Stokes for a 2A Mid-State bout on Tuesday, January 28. Morehead will play a Wildcats team coming off a 65-62 league loss to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, McMichael falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Reidsville (Reidsville, NC) to play the Rams in a 2A Mid-State bout on Monday, January 27. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 16-0. Reidsville won 82-41 in their recent league bout against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC)
