In Saturday's league contest, the host Midland Christian Mustangs basketball team scored a good 56-47 triumph over the Southwest Christian School Eagles.
The Mustangs (13-15) will now prepare for their contest against Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX). The Lions go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 contest with a 9-16 record.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions (Grapevine, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Southwest Christian School will attempt to better on its 7-19 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 24-6 record after their 82-48 league win over Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX).
