Ohio High School Basketball - Minford victorious over South Point

January 25, 2025: Minford, OH 45653

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Minford Falcons basketball team scored a good 63-47 triumph over the South Point Pointers.

The Falcons (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Bloom-Carroll topped Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH), 42-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Pointers battle the Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) in a Ohio Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 28. South Point will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 14-1 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to Valley (Lucasville, OH).
