In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Montgomery Academy Eagles basketball team scored a big 92-20 win over the Saint James Trojans.

The Eagles (25-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dallas County (Plantersville, AL). The Hornets come into the 3A Area 5 contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Dallas County smashed Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL), 81-66, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) in a 3A Area 5 contest, on Monday, January 27. Saint James will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 12-13 record after their 84-35 league loss to Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL).
