In Saturday's league contest, the host Zion-Benton Zee-Bees basketball team scored a close 42-37 triumph over the Mundelein Mustangs.

The Zee-Bees (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Scouts go into the North Suburban contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Lake Forest nipped Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 48-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) in a North Suburban contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Mundelein will attempt to better on its 8-14 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 14-8 record after their 71-60 non-league win over Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL).
