In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls basketball team scored a big 74-21 triumph over the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles.
The Owls (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Warrior go into the 2A District 2 contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Jemez Valley was trounced by Menaul (Albuquerque, NM), 69-18, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) in a 2A District 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 59-45 league loss to Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
