In Saturday's league contest, the host To'hajiilee Warriors basketball team scored a big 69-35 win over the Northwest Falcons.
The Warriors (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM). The Dine Warriors come into the A District 1 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Tse' Yi' Gai was trounced by Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM), 98-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM) in a A District 1 contest, on Thursday, January 30. Northwest will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Leopards come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 66-18 non-league loss to Logan (Logan, NM).
