The Praise Academy Lions basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Oakwood Christian Eagles to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Central Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30.

With the loss, Oakwood Christian falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Unity Christian (Rome, GA) to confront the Lions in a GAPPS - I-A Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions go into the game with a record of 6-15. Unity Christian won 56-50 in their recent non-league game against Cornerstone Christian (Rainsville, AL)
