The Palmer Dragons basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Rosa Fort Lions to 52 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Water Valley for a 2A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. Palmer will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 54-40 league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Rosa Fort falls to 15-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Independence (Independence, MS) to confront the Wildcats in a 3A Region 2 game on Wednesday, January 22. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 11-8. Independence lost 58-51 in their recent non-league game against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS)
