Illinois High School Basketball - Richland County overwhelms Robinson

The Richland County Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Robinson Maroons to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Paris for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Richland County will play a Tigers team coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Robinson falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Marshall (Marshall, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Lions go into the game with a record of 9-8. Marshall lost 58-49 in their recent non-league game against Paris (Paris, IL)
