The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles to 60 in the Knights league triumph on Saturday.
The Knights now have a 13-2 record. They play next when they host MACCRAY for a A Section 3 game on Tuesday, January 28. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 80-49 league loss to Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-12.
The Eagles now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westbrook-Walnut Grove for a A Section 3 match on Tuesday, January 28. Southwest Minnesota Christian will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 92-74 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 14-4.
